Three ways to disturb the picture.
- 01Drawing
- Switch between characters, Velto marks and dots, then move from a fine grain to a coarse one.
- 02Behaviour
- Brush the picture with the pointer, choose a wind direction and send a deliberate gust through the growing tree.
- 03Light
- Move between black ink and the source colour, then send travelling light through the stages that can carry it.

Why we build the pictures ourselves.
The same argument runs through the whole site: a business is grown, not assembled. The fig has one life, from seed to fruit to seed again, and every stage of it belongs to the same visual system.
Each photograph is redrawn live in the browser, one mark to a square of the grid. The pictures can breathe, bend and respond without becoming ordinary footage.
